The battle of the north « Thread Started on Feb 23, 2005, 7:10pm »
* in the land of Rhun, there dwells a race of evil men. No one knows where they came from, but it has been said that they were one of the hidden works of Melkor in the new days of Middle-earth. The 'men' are the corupted form of the seccond born. They are like the Orcs to the Elves, but they are decended from the line of men. They have grown in hatred towards the land's of the free peoples and now threaten to wage war against all of Gondor. There army is only held at bay through the brave efforts of a small group of Rangers who, in the common speach, call themselves the Rhunadain. Their leader is a man named Berogrond.*

Aproximately one month ago, the last lines of the rangers fell. the overpowering might of the army of Rhun demolished the efforts of the Rhunadain. Only there leader, Berogrond, and a small handfull of others escaped with their lives.
